Meet Whitney

After a transformative study abroad experience in Paris, I found my passion for wine and travel (still working on mastering the art of packing light, though). A Hospitality graduate from Kansas State University with minors in French and Business, I dove deep into the world of wine, completing several sommelier courses through the International Wine Guild and now hold a WSET level 3 certification.

13 years of retail wine buying and consulting inspired me to branch out, leading to "Wine to you by Whitney" – focusing on wine education and private events.

In the heart of the Midwest, I value our community and believe in giving back. For seven years, I've led food and beverage efforts for the Kansas Children’s Foundation's Helianthus event, blending my love for wine with charity. Wine not only elevates these events but also brings us closer, adding joy and relaxation.

Remember: wine is for everyone, not just the connoisseurs. As Julia Roberts aptly said in Steel Magnolias, "An ounce of pretension is worth a pound of manure."

    Great wines come in all ranges! We can do $15 per bottle or $150, it's all about your budget and preference!

  • Pick a Location

    I'll come to you! Keep it cozy in the comfort of your home, host at a local restaurant or venue of your choice!
